 W.

Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory. In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd president to the big screen as only he can. W takes viewers through Bush's eventful life--his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to Bush's decision to invade Iraq.

45 out of 100 Josh Brolin is Bush!!
Linda from Cork, 26 Jul 2009
This is one of the best films I have seen this year. Josh Brolin is just so fantastic as Bush! I thought the film was going to be a total dig on Bush but it was more of a unbiased portrayal of his lilfe, by the fab Oliver Stone, which I totally enjoyed! They show you his life growing up and how his father always compared him to his brother and treated him as the useless one....which he was! You do hear some of the stupid things that Bush says, which are always worth a giggle. Found it really in

5 out of 100 bloody awful!
Mim from Dublin, 07 Feb 2010
this should have been good, i was looking forward to it, but i was so bored by it , i began checking my email on the computer....and kept checking it. it was of no interest.very disappointing. The acting is good, a bit comical at times, the edited bits are probably the best...but they cut them out! Bush on a magic carpet, flying over Iraq..... Condalisa Rice sings gospel....but seriously don't waste your evening, sadly disappointed!

15 out of 100 Entertaining but not factual
Paul from Cork, 02 May 2010
This is just another of Oliver Stone's pseudo-fact movies based on his leftist worldview. He is obviously just playing into the stereotypical liberal left portrayal of Bush and setting out to make George look as clown-like as possible. Entertaining, but don't take it too seriously where facts are concerned.

40 out of 100 W
Frances from Clare, 17 Jun 2009
Even though this is not a horror film I found it one of the scariest movies I've watched in a long time. All I can say is thank God Bush & his cohort of loonies are gone.

5 out of 100 Boring
laura from Dublin, 21 Sep 2009
Anyone who wants more Bush maybe deserves this movie. We already know he's a bit challenged, so this didn't add anything. Extremely boring and sleep inducing.

45 out of 100 Interesting
Gillian from Cork, 20 Aug 2009
This is a well made film. I`m no fan of Dubya but I like true stories, even ones with fictional accounts to pad it out. It was very good.
