What can I say about pixar that hasn't already been said, once again they have delivered a great film. This will entertain both adults and children alike, great story, great animation, what more can I say...rent it.

So much more than an animated film
Sue from Cork, 25 Apr 2010
This is a brilliant film. Great story, just beautifully put together and has that magic you only find in sometimes.
Also I normally hate special features, but they are worth watching on this DVD.

Very Enjoyable
Valerie from Kilkenny, 28 Nov 2010
I rented this for my two daughters who are 3 and a half and 2, and the eldest girl in particular loved it, it's going to be their Christmas Stocking this year. Both my husband and I enjoyed it also, it was very cleverly written and the animation was terrific, only sorry we didn't go to the cinema too see it, highly recommend it

Some parts are laugh out loud hilarious. Some parts are heartbreaking. But this is an excellent film! On Blu-ray the picture is incredibly crisp, surround sound is very good and there's a good story. There isn't much to say other than this is an excellent Blu-ray release! Highly recommended!

Pixar masterpiece partly spoiled by Disneyfication
Adrian from Dublin, 17 Jun 2011
This accomplished Pixar production has an inspiring message about pursuing your childhood dreams, but because it's also a Disney film, it is rapidly wrenched around to Family Is The Greatest Adventure late in the third act. Watching the film is terrifically engaging; if you look away at any point, you're likely to miss either a beautiful sight, an advancement of the plot, a development of the characters, or one of the visual gags. The story elements are deliberately simplified in order to make it appealing to the youngest ages, but I wouldn't have noticed if the director's commentary hadn't pointed it out. Two animated shorts are also on the disc; they're good fun too.

Pixar doing what they do best
Brock from Limerick, 22 Jul 2010
Pixar really are very very good at this sort of thing, the level of detail is staggering - there's one scene with a cupboard door in the background and the light rippling over the gloss brushstokes is sublime! - combined with the character development. Not many kids films though will feature a miscarriage, so carefull how you explain that one off.... DVD extras are very good

I watched this with my son. We have been waiting to see it for some time now. I was disappointed as i LOVE monsters inc.
There is a lot of sadness with this old man that i didnt like in a kids movie.
Russell was the best thing about movie.
