 Save The Last Dance 2

Continuing the story of the original film, Sara (Izabella Miko) follows her dream and becomes a student at Juilliard. As she is excels and becomes a star pupil, Sara becomes torn between her love for traditional ballet and her passion for the urban street rhythms of hip-hop, complicated further by her new love, hip-hop musician Miles (Columbus Short). When pushed to make a choice, will she follow the path of the tried and true or will she take a risk and dance into uncharted territory?

I had seen the first and liked it. The second was very like the first but I felt that it could have finished better. I don't want to spoil it for persons intending to rent it. However, it is one to watch on a lazy night and really only a chick flick.

I enjoyed this film but I thought it ended a bit abruptly. It was fairly predictable but still a good nights viewing. The new actress playing the part of sarah was very different but I liked her

A poor movie, the acting wasn't particularly scintillating and the dancing wasnt fascinating, Unlike the first movie where the dancing dominated, the dancing here seems to come a poor second to the plot that doesn't have a very clear direction of where its going. Its fine to watch for some light diversion but it all seems a bit up in the air and the plot never seems to get fixed

20 out of 100 Not as good as the first...
Rachael from Wicklow, 27 Jun 2007
It was an okay movie. More of a chick-flick for people who like to watch dance/music movies. I enjoyed it as a time-killer for a quiet Wednesday night.
