30 out of 100  A love story - about two confused souls
Toni from Wicklow, 29 Sep 2010
Pretty watchable - two likeable characters Richard Gere and Diane Lane who are thrown together in unexpected circumstances.....

20 out of 100  I think I'll make the tea....
Stephen from Dublin, 19 Jan 2010
This didn't happen for me. My wife enjoyed it but of course Gere can do no wrong with ladies of the eighties. He's never done anything of note in my book. The storm/love scene is a classic pathetic fallacy in the best tradition of Emily Bronte. Not for the lads.

15 out of 100  Okay but Id rather watch paint dry
Mark from Dublin, 04 Jan 2010
Not bad with an okay story but the overall vote from the household was that it was a bit drawn out and nothing like the book apparently.

30 out of 100  Nights in Rodanthe
Trish from Limerick, 12 Oct 2009
OK, not great, kinda lost interest towards the end because the first half of the movie had been so predictable. The roles suited Lane & Gere, typically what you expect from them.

5 out of 100  cheesy and dreadful acting
Annien from Dublin, 08 Jun 2009
very slow, excruciating to watch, one lives in hope, but every time you think the end is in sight, they add another cheesy, tear jerking scene. only thing missing was a dog with one leg... rent something else...

15 out of 100  Nights in Rodanthe
Orla from Galway, 23 May 2009
A bit too much like 'Bridges of Madison County'. Trying to make you cry but did not know characters well enough to care that much. A weak attempt at a tear jerker love story.

No sparks flew in this. Disappointing. Average performances from the leads

25 out of 100  Nights in Rodanthe
Chris from Louth, 07 May 2009
The film was a typical "Romance/Chick Flick", acting was okay, storyline was a bit weak. I'm just glad I didn't waste 20 euro to watch it in a cinema!!!!
