 Made of Honour

Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan star in Made Of Honour a delightful romantic comedy. For Tom (Patrick Dempsey), life is good: he's sexy, successful, has great luck with the ladies and know he can always rely on Hannah (Michelle Monaghan) - his delightful best friend and the one constant in his life! It's the perfect setup until Hannah goes overseas to Scotland on a six-week business trip... And Tom is stunned to realise how empty his life is without her. He resolves to ask her to marry him - but on her return Hannah has some news of her own: She is getting married to a handsome and wealthy Scotsman. When Hannah asks Tom to be her 'maid' of honor, he reluctantly agrees to fill the role... But only so he can attempt to woo Hannah and stop the wedding before it's too late!

Typical Hollywood movie of man realizing hes in love with his best friend when she announes shes getting married. Patrick Dempsey makes this watchable..... Definatly one for the ladies though

35 out of 100 Surprisingly enjoyable
Tim from Dublin, 09 Mar 2009
I was surprised I liked this as I was made to what is as a compromise with the girlfriend. But I found myself liking the movie, by no means a classic but it does what it say's on the tin! I've been made to sit through my fair share of awful rom-coms but found I enjoyed this one, it was amusing and although the ending was a tad unbelievable it kept in tune with the lighthearted approach to the movie.

10 out of 100 thin slice of the silly pie
Siobhan from Cork, 17 Dec 2008
This screams "My Best Friend's Wedding", and it's a similar plot to wreck the wedding and get the bride, Nothing new, nothing great. Lovely scenery, stereotypical "Hollywood" version of Scotland and the Scots (all "Och Aye The Noo" kilt wearing savages) meh

40 out of 100 rom-com what more can I say
Pol from Dublin, 13 Jan 2009
It's your average romantic comedy/ chick flick - call it what you like you know what you're getting before you watch it. The girls will love this and the men will want to hate it but either way has some good moments. Funny and happy smiley film.
