A modern version of Prophecy

So many people didn't enjoy this film. The pacing is more akin to The Crazies or Carriers, so there are plenty of conversations and moments shared between the characters. It runs like a modernization of the Prophecy films and I really though it was a good bit of fun. I really couldn't see the problems that other people would have had with this film. Good fun and harmless entertainment.

The story in this could have had the potential to be made into more of an epic but instead they relied on the same old tired horror-like cliches, didn't live up to my expectations but worth a watch nonetheless.

This movie made me jump once or twice unlike my boyfriend who actually nearly wet himself! He thought it was sooo scary but I have seen scarier and also better story lines...it was a bit cheesy at the end.

Poor enough. Seems to be a movie length version of a TV pilot, the end leaves it open for a TV show. Plenty of the usual cliches and not much suspense or proper horror. Should just have been a TV show...

I did enjoy this movie, it is predictable and the story has been told before, but it had a good cast, some great special effects and plenty of scary stuff, so I would say its worth a look.
