'The Laurel/Hardy Murder Case' is a spoof of the kind of thriller prevalent at that time, complete with hysterical relatives, grim policemen and disappearing bodies. 'Noche De Duendes' is the Spanish-language version of this film, extended in length by reworked material from an earlier short, 'Berth Marks', which is also included in this compilation. In 'Oliver The Eighth' regular foil Mae Busch is at her best as a homicidal maniac!
