Juno (Page) is a whip-smart teenage girl confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Cera). With the help of her hot best friend Leah (Thirlby), Juno finds her unborn child a "perfect" set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa (Bateman and Garner), longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents (Simmons and Janney) as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs.

50 out of 100 Dont miss it.
Ciaran from Dublin, 06 Jun 2008
This year's 'Little Miss Sunshine' some people refer to this as. But that is doing it a disservice. Not that LMS is not good, (it's very good), but Juno is better and deserves to stand on its own and be counted. Page (from the fantastic 'Hard Candy....*shudder!*) is standout but is well supported in this teenage drama-comedy with a scripts that is razor sharp and a wit that transcends what we normally witness in this genre. Great soundtrack too. All in all, everyone should see this.

45 out of 100 juno
Martin from Sligo, 12 Jun 2008
an excellant movie on the sometimes sensitive topic of teenage pregnancy and how to deal with it. ellen page is the brilliant, quick witted juno who at 16 lands herself in it, she has the maturity to deal with the suitation with a solid head on her young shoulders. was a bit surprised to see jennifer garner as the rich woman who helps juno out, but she also plays the role very well overall, i can understand the hype behind this movie and i would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

20 out of 100 Why all the good reviews?
Niall from Dublin, 07 Apr 2009
I saw the first half of this film before without seeing the end and thought it had potential. I also heard a review saying there was a brilliant twist. There isn't. After a decent opening it just peters out to a very tame finish. I was left thinking 'is that it?' Nothing to do with the acting which is good and the Juno is excellent as the main character. Just seems like they ran out of ideas. Wouldn't recommend to any of my mates, but girls might enjoy more than guys.

40 out of 100 Juno...Brilliant film!
Ann-Marie from Meath, 10 Dec 2008
Myself and hubby really enjoyed this film. The lead role of Juno was excellently played by Ellen Page and she gave credibility and likeability to her character. The film delivered a very strong message, that whatever unfortunate situation you might find yourself in, that there are alternatives available, that you will overcome obstacles in your path and live to tell the tale!

25 out of 100 Too Smart for its Own Good
Daire from Louth, 13 Dec 2008
Quick witted? Check. Bright colours? Check. Indie-pop soundtrack? Check. Young Actress Tipped for Great Things in the lead role? Check. Annoying as hell? Oh yeah.

45 out of 100 Wonderful
Brian from Cork, 28 Sep 2010
What a refreshing movie. No big production or major star names. Just really good acting and a great story. The lead actress is instantly likeable. It takes a bit to get going, which in itself is endearing as far too many movies now try to cater for the iTunes generation of instant gratification. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a nice story (not lolipop romance) with good acting.
