25 out of 100  Dissapointing
Lisa from Limerick, 15 Jun 2011
The concept was good, delivery not great. One or two funny bits but to be honest the best bits were shown in the trailers I saw for the movie. Didn't have any belly laughs.

5 out of 100  Not Funny
Glen from Meath, 08 Feb 2011
No need to write too much here, just to say this film lacked any form of laughs. Incredibly dull.

25 out of 100  Maybe I am just too old...
Eamon from Meath, 11 Jan 2011
This is the kind of film I would have loved when I was 14. At this stage, it just seemed a litle immature. Or maybe it's just me getting old.

20 out of 100  Not as good as it could have been
Nicola from Leitrim, 22 Oct 2010
I am a fan of John Cusack and I thought with him in it that the film might have been ok but it was quite poor, it could have been better, especially with the premise of going back to the 80's but the only good part was the part that you saw in the trailer so I could have saved myself the time of renting it really!

Jennifer from Dublin, 04 Oct 2010
As this film had gotten good reviews at the time it was in the cinema I was looking forward to seeing it. However it was utter rubbish!

40 out of 100  Totally hilarious
John A from Dublin, 10 Sep 2010
As the previous review states if you're a child of the 80's you'll love this. I couldn't believe how well they re-enacted the era, so many cheesy things you can relate to! Definitely worth a look- and it's not just a guy flick, girls will love it too.

40 out of 100  What more could you ask for
Cathal from Dublin, 31 Aug 2010
Its called "Hot Tube time Machine" if that don't make you click the rent button straight away then you did not grow up in the 80s This is a silly funny dodgy retro comedy that is just hilarious. Ticks all the boxes for a good lads comedy It is like "Old School" meets "Back to the future" Dive in and enjoy, cant wait to see it again
