35 out of 100 Basicly lives up to the game
Stuart from Dublin, 01 Aug 2009
They got many things rights in the film that the game has, and nothing major that the game has that the film doesnt, some of the camera work and music is very good and helps the film along a lot. The film does introduce 47s character to a wider audience in an effective way and shows why and what hes about. Timothy Olpyphant plays 47 well and obviously trained a lot for the film. Its the kind of movie which could produce a sequel for sure and maybe a better film than this, but I think after seeing

25 out of 100 More miss than Hit.
Alan from Dublin, 11 May 2008
Most video games don't transfer well to the big screen... and this is no different. Totally misscast "Hitman", he's about as tough as a wet sock ! Plenty of action sequences but with no real plot, there's no much to hold your interest.

40 out of 100 Does exactly what it says on the tin.
John from Donegal, 02 May 2008
Considering this is based on a game, it turned out a very good film. I liked the storyline, the actors really tried to play their parts, and the plot was fast and understandable. Well worth a look.

5 out of 100 Didn't like it
Jevgenija from Wicklow, 10 Apr 2008
Incorrect personality choice for main part. Not related to the game. Politically incorrect movie.

20 out of 100 Hitman
Martin from Kerry, 03 Oct 2008
Never played the game. This starts moderately interestingly but goes and stays downhill. It feel as if it's made by amateurs and doesn't fit together quite right. There lots of splatter but there's also a lot of confusion as to whats going on and the lead man seems a bit uncomfortable in the role. I can't imagine why I'd watch this again.

10 out of 100 Dont bother
Abdullah from Dublin, 14 May 2008
Big fan of the game, very dissapointed with the film. As in most video games brought to the screen the director prob never played the game. Dire plot, terrible acting..fell asleep during it to be honest!
