!!!-- This is Part 5 of the Harry Potter Saga, if you wish to watch it in correct order, we recommend to add one title at a time to your wishlist --!!! In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about his recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.

15 out of 100 Harry Potter and teenage angst
Mark from Dublin, 22 Mar 2008
Maybe its just me but the potter movies should be all about the magic and fantasy and not teenage angst and stroppy teenagers, granted they have grown up but its a movie not a life documentary, not enough for what has made this series a success magic and fantasy would wonder what kids made of it. Clock watched through most of this.

Not as good as the previous ones. Haven't read the books so a fair bit of stuff went over my head.

50 out of 100 Harry
Emily from Galway, 23 Jan 2008
Being a huge Harry Potter fan I was delighted to see the darkness of the book brought into this film. As The order of the Pheonix is really a transistionary book in the series this film could have been quite boring for non fans, but thankfully it does not dissapoint, and still retained may of the sub plots that are evident in the book. The Darkest Harry Potter yet.

35 out of 100 As Good as Ever
Seamus from Monaghan, 12 Aug 2009
The only problem I have with the Harry Potter films is that as the series goes on the actors lack of acting ability begins to show. In this film only Ron and Luna of the children seem to convince in their roles. That said. The film delivers all the usual Harry Potter goods. The 'romance' involving Harry doesn't dominate the film as it does the book and the ending alone makes the film worth watching.

35 out of 100 For the fans
Ciaran from Dublin, 12 Jan 2008
Probably the most beautifully shot of the movies so far, the latest lacks some of the energy of previous efforts and will appeal more to true fans than casual observers. Having said that it is all well done and all the usual heads are back for more so you can't but be impressed by the franchise and this is no let down.

35 out of 100 Harry Potter And The Order of The Pheonix
Declan from Wicklow, 14 May 2008
Enjoyable, though not as captivating or fun as the earlier installments. This film largely sets up the final stand between good & evil, as well as allowing the characters to grow up, in preparation for what will presumably be a tougher, darker conclusion to the series.
