Good, but very long (and feels it)
Eamon from Meath, 15 Dec 2009
Let's be honest, this one is a bit of a filler. It's very good for what it is but ultimately it doesn't really satisfy. Part 6 of 8? I think it's a long way off from getting to the point.

If you haven't read the book you won't watch it. If you have you will be a little bored. There are no standout scenes. JK R's books tend to be alot of headscratching followed by a blowout finale. Same here except without the finale.
SPOILERS BELOW:
The attack of the bodies in the lake was Meh. followed by the death of XXXXXX which was also lower key than you would expect from people with magic at their disposal.

Not a Harry Fan
marie from Westmeath, 20 Jan 2010
Have been to Hogwarths too often since my children learned to read non-illustrated books. Relished the nachos (with extra cheese) more. This one appeals more to adults. The special effects are always great but you do get used to them. This was the first time I found myself liking the characters. Clever as always, visually stimulating, engaging characters - you could spend a few hours a whole lot less enjoyably.

Potter Magic!
Lyn from Cork, 10 Dec 2009
This is a wonderfully brooding episode of Harry's story - the menace of Voldemort and what might happen next, set against lighter moments of the difficulties of adolescent growing pains make it truly memorable. Harry and his pals are now dealing with very powerful grown-up issues in fighting the dark side. The stunning finale is a film classic. Definitely one to watch!

Harry's game.

Having not seen all of the HP series, I was a bit lost story wise in this one. I thought the story was a bit weak and the acting a bit wooden but the visuals will keep you watching. If your a Harry fan you'll probably think it's great anyway but if not I'd advise against renting.

Good but very drawn out.
Steve from Roscommon, 10 Feb 2010
Not a bad film, usual format, but I kept falling asleep and had to keep rewinding. If you read the book you will be wondering if this was the same film. Ok but not as good as the previous films.
