30 out of 100 A little bland
Eamon from Meath, 08 May 2009
This turned out to be a bit more of a rom-com than I expected. I wasn't looking for more of The Office or Extras but I was hoping for a bit more of the Gervais quirkiness than I got here. That said it was quite watchable and a solid enough romantic comedy.

20 out of 100 ok to watch
Petra from Dublin, 12 Aug 2009
the lead male role isn't your usual adonis-like hearthrob with the usual charm but that's part of the films .. well... charm. it's no blockbuster and there are times you'd like to bang the leads head off a wall or smack one of the others in the mouth but it's not the worst ever ghosty movie. they could have done more with it as it isn't a bad premise but it's watchable.

5 out of 100 Ricky sells his soul
Donal from Wexford, 28 Jul 2009
I was intrigued to see this movie after I accidentally walked onto the set and interrupted filming in New York. One of the staff on set decribed the premise to me and it sounded like a bad movie already. Bascially Ricky sees dead people, without hilarious consequences. I wouldn't recommend renting this movie. Life is too short.

50 out of 100 Brillant
Caroline from Dublin, 28 Sep 2010
Just loved this movie. My favourite scene is when he returns to the Hospital to ask the operating Doctor did anything unusual occur during his operation. She takes him aside into a cubbyhole leaves and returns with the head of the legal department. 10/10 Would like to have seen more of Stephen Merchant.

20 out of 100 Ghost Town
Emily from Galway, 31 Mar 2009
Ricky Gervais is NEVER going going to be anybody else other than David brent and this proves it. Same comedy he always has same attitude as David Brent. Wouldnt recommend this. Would have been much better with a different actor who has other comedic abilities as it is a good premise

10 out of 100 Not funny
Frances from Dublin, 29 Jun 2009
I thought this was supposed to be a comedy and was expecting great things, or even ok things, from the trailer. Its mediocre at best and there is no laugh out loud scenes. Ricky Gervais is good I guess but the same as he always is. There's better films out there.
