Get Smart features Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway in a new adaptation of the classic television series! 40 out of 100 Excellent rework of the 60's series.
William from Dublin, 05 May 2009
We are often disappointed when a 'classic' is reworked for for a 'modern audience'. I was very surprised by how well elements of the old series were knitted in to the plot of this movie. The original series was a spoof on James Bond/Man from Uncle etc and often got quite silly, thankfully the screen writers did not let sillyness get too out of hand so new viewers and fans of the original will enjoy this thoroughly with plenty of good action and worthy homages.

Shane from Galway, 02 Mar 2009
I only rented this as I was a fan of the original series years ago but this unfortunately is terrible...very poor from the start and cant really think of anything good to say about it.

20 out of 100 What a let down
Jamie from Kerry, 27 Feb 2009
Don't waste your time on this. What a let down. Great cast but they are given nothing to work with. Not a patch on the original series.

35 out of 100 A few laugh out loud moments
brian from Dublin, 11 May 2009
We enjoyed this in the cinema so were looking forward to seeing it again. If you like Steve Carrel he's particularly funny in this one. I laughed out loud many times in this movie which to me, is a rare occurance with modern comedies. If you're looking for silly light hearted movie then this is very entertaining.

40 out of 100 Funny and Watchable
Annette from Dublin, 12 Jun 2009
Sit back, relax and have a good laugh. Fans of the original series will also like it. There are plenty of visual jokes. It certainly appeared from the film that the cast enjoyed themselves.

35 out of 100 Very funy!
Dean & Steffi from Meath, 06 Jul 2009
Urm, quite funny! Yer man from 40 yr old Virgin is a good comedy actor, though it dragged a bit in the end. Coulda had a few more giggles mid-way thru but was lightly entertaining!

20 out of 100 Get Real.
Alan from Dublin, 24 Mar 2009
A big let down. If you were a fan of the original series I'd advise you to stay clear of this, not a good remake.
