Preposterous!
Ciaran from Dublin, 16 Oct 2007
OK, stick with me here. Denzel is a federal agent investigating a 'terrorist' attack. He hooks up with a team of FBI agents who have this mad machine that allows them to look anywhere at specific point in the past. So they can see and hear whatever they like within a certain area at an exact time 4 odd days ago - it's like a running replay. It's only after this discovery that the plot goes off the rails! Denzel keeps a straight face and it is somewhat interesting but don't ask any questions!

Maybe a good idea BUT.....
Nuala from Dublin, 08 May 2010
OK on paper this is a great idea, it starts off will and gets you involved in the story early on. All of this is good... however....it just does not deliver in the end. You invest a lot of emotion in the story and the payoff just doesn’t arrive. Instead what you get is a preposterous middle and ending and you feel really let down. (well I did) No matter how farfetched a story is, if it’s well told you can enjoy it but when it’s not...and this is not well told, you just feel like a mug.

Deja Vu
Stuart from Kildare, 21 Jan 2008
An intruiging film that if Frequency was your cuup of tea then you'll love this one. Also starring Caviezel, Deja Vu plays around with time and altering the present by affecting the past!! Sounds weird but works quite well. Hard to grasp exactly how the theory of what they actually do in the film works but it's a film so what the hell... Sit back, enjoy and let your brain try to figure out what's happening!!

Clever movie about "If only"
Stuart from Dublin, 15 Jun 2008
This film is just as the title implies but is not nostalgic, it is epxloring how we may or may not be able ot interact with the past presetn and fututre through science and technology and also our own minds. Tony Scoot directed Denzel Eashington before in Man on Fire(recommended), now both team up again for this. Washington plays a bomb investigator and must investigate a teribble ship bomb , the film takes an enourmous twist when he find this disaster may be prevented even after the bomb

Non-linear thinking...
Micheal from Down, 02 Nov 2010
"If you knew a secret that could change the world, but no one would believe you, what would you do?"
I love these sort of films. My first experience of non-linear thinking was when I saw Back to the Future a long long time ago, This adds action, drama, and a love story to make it a good all-rounder classic. I'm sure lots of people will nick pick on aspects of the acting, physics and plausibility of the film, however for me, it's about experiencing the possibility of parallel dimensions
