A real feel good movie with a very Irish feel to it. Very fresh and suprising at times.

Cowboys and Angels

Very witty with some true representations of the interaction between the gay and straight community in Ireland, the two boys filled their roles well and look forward to seeing them both in future roles

Feel good movie - just shows - you do NOT have to stay in the "safe" job - if you have a dream, follow it.

Makes Limerick look like London!
Conor from Dublin, 13 May 2010
Nice to see an Irish film that addresses sexuality and relationships. It's not as provocative or interesting as I'd hoped - in fact, it feels a bit naive and twee at times. There were a few laugh-out-loud moments and the sentiment was nice, if a little mushy. And it really makes Limerick look like a mixture between Manhattan and Covent Garden!

Cowboys and Angesl

Very funny and entertaining from start to finish, even if a bit sugar coated at times. 2 main actors are aptly suited to the roles and definately worth renting just for the look on Nigel Mercer's face when the 2 boys are arrested. Hilarious!!!

Mild humour

An interesting take on contemporary Irish life. Funny in parts, but the humour wears a bit thin after a while. The ending is just all a little too nice and convenient. Interesting and entertaining enough for a wet weekday.

I seldom give a 10....

A fabolous film with depth and real meaning....seldom these kind of films around. I was banned by it from the first second til the end and even shed a few tears at the end.
Very very very good film which outstars all the superficial blockbusters..... I always like irish films as they are mostly different and carry depth but this one - outstanding. Fabolous movie!!!!
