A workaholic architect, who has been overlooking his family in favor of his career, comes across a universal remote that allows him to perform TV-like functions on his life, such as pausing events or fast-forwarding over them. When the remote begins creating its own memory and choosing what to fast-forward over, the man sees how much of his personal life has passed him by and realizes the importance of spending more time with his family.

35 out of 100 A Movie With A Moral.
Barry from Tipperary, 20 Feb 2007
This movie was good. It teaches you a lesson all the way through. It wasnt THAT funny .The last 30 mins were the best , The acting came into its own in that period. If you want a light-hearted movie , that teaches you some nice morals then this is the one for you.

35 out of 100 Better than Expected
Robert from Wexford, 15 Apr 2007
From the reviews here I thought it'd be worse, but I liked it. David Hasselhoff played the part of Sandler's boss well, he must have had fun. Lots of good looking woman including Sandler's wife. Love the scene with the Arabs. Funny!

35 out of 100 Does what it should
Kenneth from Cork, 02 May 2007
Typical Adam Sandler. Good cast for a nice bit of light entertainment. If you want to switch the brain into neutral and have a few laughs, this will do the trick.

50 out of 100 Wow...
Matthew from Wicklow, 27 May 2007
Without giving spoilers, all I can say is that I was not expecting that. Basically, its not a comedy as such. Its more of a comedy drama with a moral at the end. Brilliant stuff. Even if you don't like Adam Sandler I'd still recommend it. I watched it twice in one go. The first time I watched it normally and the second straight after with audio commentary (and I don't normally do that). Very funny, Very moving. See it. All i'm gonna say.

30 out of 100 Give it a chance
Rory from Dublin, 03 Feb 2007
This film is quite good if you just give it a chance. It does give you a message if you watch it all the way through. I did however after half hour wish to turn it off. I stuck with it and i'm glad i did. Don't be expecting to roll on the floor laughing its not that funny but its a good lazy sunday watch

Beverly from Dublin, 12 Feb 2009
I was expecting a comedy, but this had few laughs, it actually got me so down it made me cry. watching a man fast forward through his life to find when he stops, he's a bloater and has lost his wife and kids and then he dies, is not funny...Sandler..what were you thinking?

40 out of 100 Click
Emily from Galway, 10 Apr 2008
What would u do if u were a workaholic with a "universal remote control"? As u can guess Adam Sandlers character Ffwds the worst bits of his family life with heartbreaking consequences. Funny and well worth a watch! Makes u value the important things in life like family.
