For super-dog Bolt, every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue - at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet - a cross-country journey through the real world. Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and with the help of two unlikely traveling companions: a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens and a TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball named Rhino, Bolt discovers he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero.

45 out of 100 Bolt - Great Movie
Marc from Dublin, 24 Jul 2009
If you like the new computer made cartoons like Nemo, Shrek, Madagascar & Co then you will love Bolt. Of course the story is simple, the main audience being kids, but great fun to watch. It would be even nicer if it was the 3D version...

35 out of 100 Fun for us "adult children" too
Camilla from Dublin, 09 Mar 2010
This is a fun and endearing story about a brusque waking up to see that life isn't quite what you thought it was, but with a little help and suport from friends (different from you as they may be) you can get through it and even get a better life from the experience. This a little dog who's in a TV series but the human production team wants him to think it's all for real to make sure his acting is as realistic as possible. (He's a bit like a canine 007, but with the responsability of keeping

35 out of 100 a nice watch
Petra from Dublin, 21 Jul 2009
it really depends what you're into but adults can enjoy watching it if they like animals and/or animation. it's a sweet story. What we adults often forget is to suspend our belief and accept the impossible. the kind of thing that makes kids movies work

25 out of 100 For kids
Ciaran from Dublin, 23 Jun 2009
Not to be mistaken for a Pixar effort that can equally be enjoyed by adults and children, this is a strictly for kids effort. Lots of kinetic action that will keep the yung'uns occupied with little to keep their parents engaged.
