0 out of 10 Don't rent it.
Andrew from Dublin, 28 Aug 2008
A cross between Fair City and Gremlns (1984) only the acting is superior in Fair City (which is not saying much) and the lighting better in Gremlins. I have a feeling that the poor lighting was down to cost cutting visual effects which resulted in me having to squint my eyes to figure out what was going on. If your a fan of previous Predator or Alien films do not rent this film you will be severly disappointed.

15 out of 100 someone turn the lights on please
Owen from Mayo, 07 Oct 2008
Could have been a decent film, okay the acting was average at best but what I could see of the effects they were good, but it was just too Dark to see much. Why did they go to all that effort if the viewer couldn't peer thro the gloom to see the action (had to assume it was action based on the sounds).

0 out of 10 rubbish
gerard from Dublin, 27 May 2008
This is absolutely crap, its too dark to see whats going on for most of the film and then when you can see you wish it was dark again, i enjoyed the first two predator films and the first two alien films, they are making a mockery of them with this muck, rent something else.

Gerard from Kerry, 24 Jul 2008
This movie was brillant. The graphics in this movie where a lot better then the first Alien vs Predator and there was a lot more action, which I really enjoyed.

10 out of 100 skulls collected after film->>>director+writer
Stuart from Dublin, 05 Jun 2009
2 out of 10. The director or writer obviusly wanted the aliens and predators to be the main characters here but since they dont talk theres really not much of a story here. The human characters are fairly ordinary and are like cannon fodder for the aliens and predators. there are some gorey scenes. 1 scene made me so angry I wanted to throw my mug through the television, it was so immoral and disgraceful and you must be sick i the head to enjoy that scene in the hospital it was an outrage.

0 out of 10 AvsP: Requiem
karen from Dublin, 03 Sep 2008
Oh dear where to start?. Now I loved Predator, I loved Alien, I really loved Aliens & Alien 3 wasnt bad ( i'm glossing over 4). This though is an unmitigated disaster - it makes the first AvsP film seem like Citizen Kane & The Godfather all rolled into one. I'd avoid this film even if, like me, you enjoy watching rubbish films on a Sunday afternoon. Hopefully, like Arnie, they WONT be back!

0 out of 10 Very disapointing Need night vision to watch !!
Mark from Dublin, 23 Dec 2008
As a big fan of the alien series was really looking forward to this what a disapointment llets face it you can see what they are trying to do by re-creating the suspense of the first movie but it fails so dramatically its shocking, its just too dark throughout the whole movie and what parts that are not pitch black are pretty rubbish, avoid if you can.

25 out of 100 worth a watch
Petra from Dublin, 14 Aug 2009
one scene was just poor taste - they went for the shock factor and got it but it was more the 'disgusted factor'. i didnt think it was too dark to see though. i did enjoy the action. i would agree that the aliens history was ignored but it did seem more of an action film than a story like the first AVP film. a missed opportunity to embellish. but i still enjoyed it and think it's worth a watch if you're into the genre.
