My first time to watch it and I was enthralled. I think you need to be a bit of a history fan to understand the setting and the time but the dialogue is wonderful and the central theme of a man struggling between religious conscience and patriotic duty is wonderful

Nice to see this once again and compare it with the modern version shown in "The Tudors" on TV. It has stood the test of time - worth a look
