45 out of 100 A Good Woman
Gail from Dublin, 14 Jun 2007
Thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining movie, based on Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan. Captures it's time and setting perfectly. Clever story, well worth a look

40 out of 100 A Good Movie
Tanya from Dublin, 13 Dec 2007
What an excellent movie, I am a big fan of the book that this movie is based on and was truly moved by the whole thing. The gentlemen dialogues were excellent as was Helen Hunt

25 out of 100 Comedy?
Catherine from Limerick, 05 Sep 2008
I'm sure this was a good movie and had it some interesting insights into morality and double standards for men and women. For me it was disappointing because it was described as a comedy. I selected it because I wanted a good laugh but I did not laugh once. There may have been some irony but no comedy for me.

25 out of 100 Looks beautiful, but thin in substance
Maggie from Mayo, 13 May 2008
Beautiful setting and costumes. Looks good, and generally well acted and well produced. Some good one liners. A typical Oscar Wilde story, full of misunderstandings and mistaken identity. If you like Oscar Wilde, you will probably enjoy this film, but it didn't do it for me.

40 out of 100 A good movie
Mark from Dublin, 03 Oct 2007
I enjoyed this movie very much although I am a fan of Helen Hunt but the supporting cast is strong here and it delivers in a very good storyline.

30 out of 100 On the fence with this one.
William from Dublin, 28 May 2008
Was a bit surprised with this one. Wasn't sure what to expect, and not sure if I got it afterwards! Wasn't too bad, Helen Hunt and Scarlet Johannsen were both out of their depth a bit, but besides that it wasn't too bad.

35 out of 100 Great film
Ivana from Dublin, 29 Mar 2011
It is quite different than most new films, it certainly does not rely on special effects. I was pleasantly surprised, great cast, unexpected twist and overall it is worth watching.
