Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy make one of the most unusual and entertaining teams ever in Walter Hill's roller-coaster thriller, 48 HRS. Nolte is a roughedged cop after two vicious cop-killers. He can't do it without the help of smooth and dapper Murphy, who is serving time for a half-million dollar robbery. This unlikely partnership trades laughs as often as punches as both pursue their separate goals: Nolte wants the villains; Murphy wants his money and some much-needed female companionship. Watch for Murphy's hilarious scene in a redneck country-western bar - you'll want to see it again and again.

What can I say? Seen it a hundred times and wonder why I ever watch it again but I do and still enjoy these two numb skulls.

A Marriage made it heaven

"A married couple are well suited when both partners usually feel the need for a quarrel at the same time". If this is true Murphy and Nolte would no doubt be dancing the funky chicken on their 75th wedding anniversary. Few laughs worth watching if nothing is on the Box.

Truly, truly bad

Warning!!! Made in the early 1980s. Lots of Big Hair, cardboard acting and the worst script delivered in the most wooden way possible. The only film I've seen worse than this was The Postman.
