Plot holes bigger than Vegas, Characters who lack any motivation for any of their random actions. You would say it was style over substance but it lacks style, pacing or suspense. I would say that it could do with being about 30 minutes shorter, but the reality is we would all be better off if it was about 2 hours shorter. Avoid like the plague!

25 out of 100 Somewhat contrived though enjoyable
Nenad from Dublin, 23 Jun 2010
The story has been reworked in typical hollywood fashion to provide main character/ love interest/ good guys and bad guys etc etc though I still found it enjoyable overall. Not a stand-out by any means.

As a Kevin Spacey fan I have to say it was a very good movie........a bit of a twist at the end which is always a plus!!!

It is hard to write about nothing. I watched the first half an hour, then I tried to find something interesting in it, then I tried to survive it, and after one hour trying to wait for anything to happen I switched it off. The caracters have not got any motivation, the lead actor is extremly boring, the story is painfully guff, and Spacey simply just got lost . A documentary about bag’s life is much more exciting. Don’t do yourself in the eye, choose a real movie.

I was really disappointed in this film. A good cast-Spacey and Bosworth but the lead actor wasnt great and for a film with alot of potential and interesting plot (intelligent college kids counting cards in Blackjack, Vegas) it missed the mark by a mile. Do not rent!

20 out of 100 One to pass on
Ken from Louth, 14 Apr 2010
Someone I know described Kate Boswoth as bland and that just about sums up this film. Everything about is is dull and lifeless. Even Spacey when he's in a scene has little to offer beyond looking menacing and aloof. Really not worth the time and very disappointing.
